The annual Sale-A-Bration once again brought us a variety of stamp sets, paper and flare.   At this workshop we worked on some more stamp sets from the Sale-A-Bration pamphlet.   I like the youthful images although the headsets look a lot like mine!

Valentine Dragons - Workshop January 20, 2018

When I saw the Myths & Magic Stamp Set and matching Framelit Dies it was WOW at the first moment.   I have always enjoyed epic fantasy stories like the Lord of the Rings and have watch dozens of sci-fi shows with magical creatures.   So buying this stamp set was a no-brainer for me.

I also thought the 6"x6" Glimmer Paper in iridescent, light green and turquoise was a good compliment for the cards.   Here's the one I used for a Valentine.   Don't you love the fire breathing effect?       At the workshop we made a dragon card which could be a Valentine or Birthday one.   The mermaid is so cute we made one for her.

**A card shower is a request to send greeting cards to family and family who have a special need or a special event.   In my Stampin' Up! family, we share requests from each other for sympathy, celebration and encouragement.   Do you have a card shower request?   Please let me know and I will start one for you.

A Little Note inside a card

This is a card taught to me by my Stampin' Up! upline Sherm Langan.  She is an amazing paper crafter.   This is a note inside a card.   The note card is pulled out and is where a personal message can be written.    Cutting an angle on the Stampin' Trimmer is easy.   Just turn the paper under the clear cutting guide from cut point to cut point.   1st right side cut 1".
